About This Role

This role is an integral part of the Wildlife and Threatened Species Operations Branch within the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services & Partnerships division.

The Branch delivers effective conservation outcomes for Queensland's native species and ecosystems, ensuring their safe interaction with the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support management and Wildlife Officers across various locations in Northern and Far North Queensland
  • Contribute to projects within the Northern Wildlife Operations team, focusing on the sustainable use of Queensland's wildlife
  • Provide administrative and internal project support
  • Assist with human resource and financial activities
Work Environment

The position is primarily office-based but may include fieldwork, including overnight stays, at various locations in Northern and Far North Queensland.
