Overview

We are inviting applications from highly qualified English teachers with at least 5 years of experience across Stage 6 subjects. The role is commencing Term 1, 2026 in a permanent full-time capacity.

The role

The role involves teaching English across various levels and may include:

  • English - Extension 1 & 2
  • English - Standard and Advanced
  • English - Stages 4-5
  • IB English (possible but not essential)

Skills and Experiences

The ideal candidate:

  • NESA-accredited to teach in NSW
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in English / English Literature preferred
  • Extensive specialisation in the required subject areas (IB experience highly regarded)
  • Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice
  • A confident and communicative team player who contributes to the life and culture of Kambala
