ONE PLAYGROUND ORIGIN

Starting from humble beginnings as a small bootcamp in Surry Hills, today, we are a national brand on a mission to "Inspire Change" in the Global Fitness Industry.

In March 2023, Fitness Playground became One Playground. This change represents our move beyond just fitness, and aesthetics, to become an all-encompassing Playground for all things health and fitness.

THE ROLE

Our Personal Trainers are at the heart of our business because great coaches are one of the keys to members feeling satisfied and getting results.

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver one-on-one personal training sessions – delivering excellent service, enhancing member experience and contributing to One Playground's strong brand and culture.

This successful applicant will:

• Be a leader on the gym floor amongst the team of Personal Trainers.
• Be able to deal with more complex situations and clients, with special and diverse needs.
• Have knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans and programs according to each client's needs.
• Help clients develop short and long-term goals, and introduce them to personal training packages to build a healthy client base.
• Analyse client behaviour and client's abilities to create workouts that are safe for the client to replicate.
• Support the development, design and delivery of members' programs.
• Train and assist clients in reaching their individual goals.
• Deliver a minimum of 35-40 coaching sessions to One Playground members' each week.
• Give advice on nutrition, health and lifestyle changes, where suitable.
• Maintain a healthy client base, in line with the role targets and goals of One Playground.
• Lead group fitness classes, when necessary.
  
  

Customer Service

• Manage the gym floor to create a safe environment for members.
• Engage with Members on the gym floor to enhance their gym experience.
• Nurture relationships with clients, other members and team members.
  
  

Administration

• Generate and submit performance reports on a fortnightly basis.
• Recording and creating reports of each client's progress.
• Keep and maintain client programs securely, and up to date.
• Manage client accounts, to ensure payments and billing are accurate.
  
  

Continual Development

• Stay on top of the latest trends, education and literature to ensure you provide great client service and advice.
• Attend weekly development meetings and complete required training.
• Complete online education courses, in order to continue improving your skills.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in the industry in a similar role
• Minimum Cert IV in Fitness qualification
• First Aid & CPR
• Public Liability & Indemnity Insurance
