About This Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Meat Manager to lead our meat department at Sun Valley, Gladstone. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage a small team, oversee stock ordering, create rosters, and ensure excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Lead and manage a team effectively
- Control costs and manage stock orders
- Understand gross profit calculations
- Ensure accurate team rostering
- Maintain high standards of customer service
- Communicate effectively with team and management
- Merchandising and leadership skills
- Coach, train, and performance manage team members
- Adhere to work health and safety standards
