Base pay range

A$90,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr

We are excited to partner with a well-known and respected organization based in Melbourne's south east. Currently undergoing an exciting transformation, they are seeking a Senior Payroll Professional to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end processing of payroll across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles with meticulous attention to data entry, calculations, and compliance.
  • Maintain and update employee data and payroll systems, ensuring security and data integrity.
  • Manage payroll-related queries, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on policies to employees and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage Payroll Tax responsibilities.
  • Mentor and develop the payroll team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate on payroll reporting and compliance, contributing to key initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to streamline processes and improve payroll efficiency.
  • Work closely with the current team lead to assist with training and development of staff.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing in high-volume or complex environments.
  • Experience with ADP and Entertainment industry highly advantageous.
  • Solid background in Payroll Tax management and mentoring team members.
  • Expertise in payroll software and data reporting, with a strong focus on compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and agreements with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
