Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical applications on and off-site.

You will:

  • Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
  • Conduct walk-through inspections; replacing light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers.
  • Apply basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities.
  • Record gauge/meter readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
  • Maintain technical logs and records as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent and trade school certificate preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A valid driver's license is also required.

Work Environment

This position requires frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing; and tasting or smelling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. You may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second-hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to the general public.

You must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
