Located in Eagle Farm, G.James Specialty Products designs, manufactures, finishes, fabricates, and sells a wide range of products to Australian and export markets from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

We are seeking an Industrial Designer/Draftsperson to support a variety of design and production drawings.

The Role
  1. 3D Modeling & Drafting: Create 3D models in SolidWorks, technical drawings for production, and bills of materials.
  2. Design Collaboration: Work with the design team to improve existing products and develop new concepts.
  3. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare detailed shop drawings, supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
  4. Qualifications & Communication: Bachelor's degree in industrial design or in progress of completing the degree.
The Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Advanced modeling skills in SolidWorks
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D AutoCAD (desirable)
  • Exceptional work ethic and integrity
  • Adaptability and composure when facing complexities
