Deputy Chief MIT role at I-MED Radiology Network. Expressions of Interest for a Deputy Chief Medical Imaging Technologist to support the team in Burnie, Tasmania. This position is full-time permanent or a minimum 4-days a week. You will support the Chief Radiographer/Area Chief and Regional Manager in coordinating day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and maintaining clinical excellence.
This role is ideal for an experienced Radiographer looking to take the next step in leadership within I-MED.
What's on offer- Domestic candidates: a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $5,000 retention bonus after two years. Relocation for mainland Australia candidates includes a $10,000 relocation allowance (flights and initial accommodation; reimbursement based on receipts and not taxable).
- International candidates: a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $5,000 retention bonus after two years of service. Comprehensive relocation package for overseas applicants, including up to $20,000 for relocation (flights and personal belongings; reimbursement based on receipts and not taxable).

- Assist the Chief MIT to plan and manage daily technologist workforce requirements and productivity, including staff rostering, annual leave planning, and managing sick and other leave
- Mentor and develop technologist staff and provide clinical guidance across clinics
- Ensure outstanding service delivery and supervise day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging department
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
- Perform routine and specialized medical imaging procedures to high professional standards
- Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations using correct techniques to standard or above
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication with radiologists, patients, staff and other personnel
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network
