About Us:
We are a leading metal recycling business based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, committed to sustainable practices and high-quality service. Our non-ferrous metals team plays a critical role in handling valuable materials like copper, aluminium, and brass.
The Role:
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our non-ferrous metals team. You'll be responsible for the safe movement, loading, and unloading of non-ferrous metal products, as well as assisting with sorting and general yard duties.
Key Responsibilities:
·Operate a forklift to transport non-ferrous metal materials
·Load and unload trucks and bins
·Sort and process metals for recycling
·Maintain clean and safe work areas
·Assist with general yard work as required
What We're Looking For:
·Valid forklift license (LF) – essential
·Previous experience in a metal recycling or industrial environment preferred
·Knowledge of non-ferrous metals is an advantage
·Strong commitment to workplace safety
·Good communication skills and a team player attitude
