We are seeking a dedicatedStructural Engineerto join our dynamic Brisbane team, contributing to the design and execution of diverse structural projects in themining resources sector. This role is vital for delivering innovative, high-quality, and compliant engineering solutions, working closely with senior engineers to achieve exceptional project outcomes. The ideal candidate brings5+ years of structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on design execution, and a commitment to achieving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute structural design tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs.
  • Provide technical support throughout the design phase, including calculations, modelling, and documentation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with safety requirements and company policies.
  • Identify and assist in resolving design challenges and issues.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Conduct site inspections verify design implementation, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design execution in mining resources projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in executing design tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Proven onsite experience in mining environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • RPEQ or working towards registration.
