Are you an experienced architect with a passion for shaping the future of education? We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Principal Architect to join a leading firm in Melbourne, dedicated to creating innovative, sustainable, and inspiring learning environments.
About the Role:As a Principal Architect with understanding of current pedagogic methods, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of architects, while overseeing the design and delivery of cutting-edge education projects. You will drive business development efforts, fostering strong relationships with clients, and securing new opportunities that align with the firm's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a talented team of architects and designers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance work culture.
- Take ownership of key education sector projects, from concept through to delivery, ensuring excellence in design, execution, and client satisfaction.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying and securing new project opportunities within the education sector.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships, with a focus on winning work and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Extensive experience in the education sector, with a proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact educational spaces.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of architects and designers.
- Demonstrated success in business development, winning new projects, and building lasting client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Expertise in sustainable design, contemporary educational trends, and innovative architectural practices.
- A degree in Architecture (or equivalent) and registration with the ARBV or equivalent.
- Lead transformative education projects that make a real impact on the future of learning.
