Security Architect – (Remote)

Location: Sydney, Australia (Flexible Work Options Available)

• Location: Sydney, Australia (Remote – occasional office visits once or twice a month)
• Experience: 4–6 years
• Duration: 12 months (Contract)

About the Role

As a Security Architect within our Professional Services team, you will partner directly with our enterprise clients to implement and optimize our cutting-edge security solutions. You will work on end-to-end delivery — from design and configuration to testing, deployment, and customer success — playing a key role in aligning our security technologies with customer business needs.

This is a client-facing technical position that requires excellent communication skills, hands-on expertise in web and network security, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical integration and deployment of our Security Solutions for enterprise customers
• Analyze customer traffic and system architecture to tailor solutions addressing unique security challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Project Management, Product Support) to ensure seamless project delivery
• Provide documentation, configuration, testing, debugging, and go-live support
• Act as a trusted advisor and central point of contact for assigned clients
• Conduct technical workshops, solution reviews, and training sessions with customers
• Identify service enhancement opportunities and proactively address technical issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery standards
• Participate in internal learning and development initiatives to stay up-to-date with evolving technology

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT security, with a strong focus on web and network security
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical roles, ideally within the IT or cybersecurity industry
• Strong understanding of common threats and vulnerabilities, especially those listed in the OWASP Top 10
• Familiarity with secure network and application architecture, DDoS protection, and WAFs
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
• Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple engagements
• Effective communicator, able to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across geographies and teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Must hold full-time working rights in Australia
