Role OverviewFusion5 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead customer-facing projects in cloud, cybersecurity, and virtual workspace transformation. This role involves managing projects across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and security uplift initiatives, crucial for helping organizations modernize and secure their environments while empowering hybrid workforces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects in Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and security platforms.
- Manage all aspects of project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Translate pre-sales commitments into detailed project plans and mobilize resources accordingly.
- Coordinate with external delivery partners, including Microsoft, Citrix, and other service providers.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks like Zero Trust, Microsoft CAF/WAF, and NIST, especially in regulated environments.
- Engage stakeholders and communicate effectively with internal and client teams.
- Apply lessons learned to improve project delivery continually.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering technology projects in consulting, vendor, or enterprise settings.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
- Strong knowledge of cloud/hybrid architectures, VDI, and security solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including engagement at C-level.
- Experience with structured methodologies like PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid approaches.
- Background in regulated industries (defense, government, healthcare, finance).
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or relevant Microsoft/Citrix certifications.
- Australian Government security clearance preferred.
