Job Title: Publicist

About the Role:

We're on the lookout for a sharp, experienced publicist to join our team at UNTMD Media. This is a part-time role (around 25 hours a week to start) with flexibility to work from home, and the option to grow into full-time if it's a great fit. You'll be working across a mix of clients in property, lifestyle, start-ups, legal, NFPs and more, helping us tell their stories in fresh, creative ways that actually get noticed.

We need someone who can:

  • Come up with strong angles and hooks, not just 'write a press release'
  • Land great media coverage because you know who to call and how to pitch
  • Plan and run events or activations that feel newsworthy
  • Manage UGC creators and influencers to amplify campaigns
  • Think about PR and social media together, not in silos, and create content ideas that work across both
  • Juggle a few clients at once without dropping the ball

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in PR (agency experience is ideal)
  • Someone happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
  • Great with clients, media and creators alike
  • Confident running content marketing alongside PR
  • Organised, quick-thinking and collaborative

The details:

  • Part-time: around 25 hours a week to start
  • South Melbourne-based with some WFH flexibility
  • Mix of client work, strategy, media pitching, content planning and events
  • Room to grow into a full-time role
