Overview

We are seeking a Senior People & Capability Advisor to join our team. As a senior member of the People & Capability Team, you will have responsibility for both strategic and operational people activities. You will provide quality advice, coaching and mentoring to leaders to achieve the best outcome for their teams and the business.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with and support leaders by providing advice and coaching across all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance management, organisational culture, remuneration and benefits.
  • Support growth initiatives and work collaboratively with the broader People & Capability team to achieve business goals.
  • Regularly consult with business stakeholders to identify short and long-term HR support requirements and targeted initiatives, and lead execution work.
  • Advise managers and employees on issues related to domestic and international secondments and relocations, flexible work arrangements, and higher duty assignments.
  • As either a lead or a project team member, develop and execute HR projects for business-wide initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Broad generalist HR experience, including both strategic and operational work, ideally gained in engineering or construction.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic business goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation, with an inquisitive approach to understanding key stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Bachelor degree or higher in human resources (or equivalent).
