Graduate Midwife

Graduate Midwife position providing high-quality maternity care within a supportive community health service in Portland.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing midwifery care throughout the continuum of maternity care to the Portland community and surrounding areas
• Working as part of a small, passionate team of midwives
• Recognising and respecting the needs, dignity, culture, and values of patients and their families/carers
• Participating in the Portland Graduate Midwifery Program, a 53-week program with comprehensive orientation and paid study days

• Registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Ongoing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, including maintenance of a Professional Portfolio
