SAP Academy for Services & Consulting (APAC) - Associate Technology Consultant (Sydney)

We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we\'ll bring out the best in you. The Academy aligns with the SAP Customer Services & Delivery team, supporting customers in their digital transformation and sustaining the adoption of SAP software.

The SAP Academy for Services & Consulting is a 12- to 15-month graduate program to start your career. This program consists of classroom-based learning with rotation opportunities into a predefined focus role within the business. Throughout the program you will build the foundations needed for success in the Customer Services & Delivery business.

The Role in Business Transformation Services

Business Transformation Services (BTS) provides transformation consulting, enterprise architecture guidance and change management advisory services. The mission of BTS is to support customers in SAP application-enabled business transformations across the entire life cycle (value identification through change implementation to benefit realization) in all domains of change (processes, organization and governance, people, and technology).

We are looking for a team member who can demonstrate and/or learn the following:

• Interest in innovative topics, curiosity, and the ability to translate those into customer digital transformation strategy.
• Basic understanding of the interdependencies between business and IT in transformation programs.
• General knowledge of the latest trends in information technology, preferably SAP Cloud solutions and services and their relevance for customers' business.
• Preferred Enterprise Architecture or Analytics exposure for recent customer digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

Education And Qualifications/Skills And Competencies

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent tertiary study
• 0-3 years\' work experience with customer-facing roles
• Team player with ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Good listener with excellent communication skills, empathetic and collaborative
• Resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills and eager to learn
• Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms solve business challenges
• Problem-solvers who are ambitious, passionate, resilient, proactive, and able to manage pressure
• Preferred Enterprise Architecture or Analytics experience

Expectations and Tasks During Academy

• Learn and understand the Customer Services & Delivery portfolio and deliver according to service specifications
• Conduct job rotations with various teams within the business while meeting performance requirements
• Participate in case studies, classroom and self-paced learnings with a mix of technical and soft-skill topics and on-the-job training
• Work on relevant projects that demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
• Demonstrate problem solving, time management and communication skills through activities during training and rotations
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Display effective communication to explain customer situations to business end users and SAP consultants
• Adapt to knowledge on new technologies in a dynamic environment

• Support planning and execution of solution deployments, testing and issue resolution
• Leverage SAP\'s latest technology platform capabilities
• Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise
• Support implementation and operation of technical system landscapes
• Support connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) with state-of-the-art methodologies
• Support technology component-specific consulting
• Support delivery of system optimization services
• Support delivery of customer workshops and trainings
