The Head of Research is a senior leadership role responsible for driving AllianceCorp's market intelligence strategy, overseeing research outputs, and delivering data-driven insights to guide acquisition, client strategy, and internal decision-making. This role requires a highly experienced professional with deep domain knowledge in property markets, research methodologies, and analytics, as well as leadership capability to mentor a growing team of analysts.

Design and lead AllianceCorp's national property research strategy aligned to business growth and client success

Deliver regular market insights, suburb rankings, and investment-grade location strategies using data and predictive analytics

Manage and mentor junior research analysts and collaborate with acquisitions, sales, and marketing teams

Commission and interpret economic, demographic, and housing supply data to identify emerging investment markets

Develop thought leadership reports, quarterly market updates, and predictive trend models for both internal use and client distribution

Oversee research platforms, tools, and partnerships (e.g. CoreLogic, Pricefinder, ABS, Domain)

Represent AllianceCorp in industry forums, webinars, and client presentations

Work closely with the acquisitions team to identify high-performing regions before they become mainstream

Liaise with senior leadership to align research outcomes with business performance and market timing

5+ years experience in property investment research, analytics, urban economics, or institutional property

Background in property economics, urban planning, finance, or data analytics

Strong leadership track record, including team management and interdepartmental collaboration

Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, GIS or equivalent platforms

Excellent communication and reporting skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Strong understanding of market cycles, property fundamentals, and economic indicators
