As a member of the communications team, the Communications Specialist will contribute to delivering the Country Road Group communications strategy and our priority to build a winning culture. Reporting into the Group Head of Communications, this role sees you flexing your skills as a comms all-rounder working across a mix of internal and external comms, digital, events, change and issues management as we build the comms function together.

As a highly organised, curious and proactive self-starter, you'll have an opportunity to work across our business and iconic brands, to build engagement, drive leadership, enable change and build a winning culture. With autonomy to lead your own projects, build partnerships and plenty of room to grow, you'll be backed by a supportive leader, great team and endless opportunity to shape this role as your own.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and maintain our communications channels including Workplace, intranet, LinkedIn and corporate website.
  • Lead our Digital Channel (internal social media platform) strategy to implement a new dynamic communication platform that drives engagement, collaboration, multi-directional storytelling and innovation.
  • Proactively lead content ideation and creation for our Culture Campaign.
  • Lead our content strategy and calendar to leverage the great stories across our business that amplify our culture of One Team, Courageously Curious and Driven by Purpose.
  • Partner with our PR and marketing teams to align on content and experience opportunities across our channels.
  • Partner with our People team on communications that help to build a winning culture.
  • Lead our calendar of weekly experiences to develop events that highlight our priorities and celebrate our Country Road Group lifestyle.
  • Support the delivery of our big comms moments, including CRG Connect and Senior Leadership Community.
  • Support issues management across our brands and teams.

Key Capabilities

  • Communications background and experience in internal communications in the consumer industry, ideally fashion or retail.
  • Sound knowledge and experience using Workplace and/or other digital employee experience platforms.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation and an innovative, pro-active and creative approach.
  • A strong background in planning and delivering communications including written communications, maintaining channels, managing events and creating interesting content including video.
