A unique opportunity has become available for a highly motivated individual to join the Zarraffa's Management team as a Procurement Manager.

About the role:

The Procurement Manager oversees the procurement activities of the Zarraffa's Coffee Group, managing the acquisition of goods and services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, engaging reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supply chain relationships.

Key Duties:

  • Monitor market trends and product availability to secure the best prices.
  • Manage the supply chain and communicate potential obstacles to senior management.
  • Identify and initiate relationships with new suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts.
  • Forecast supplier and customer negotiation dynamics.
  • Control expenses and promote long-term savings in procurement.
  • Establish policies for metrics that reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience within the food and beverage industry.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in learning new systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Starting from a single store in Southport, Gold Coast, Zarraffa's has grown into an award-winning enterprise serving nearly 70 locations across Queensland, Western Australia, and New South Wales.

Innovating in retail coffee, Zarraffa's developed its popular drive-thru concept in 2010, and expanded to the West Coast in 2012, bringing its unique coffee blend to new regions.
