Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared Project Manager to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the project across the International Cooperative Program (ICP) lifecycle in support of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) timelines.

What will I be doing day to day?
  • Assist the Capability Project Manager in drafting Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Capability Gate Review (CGR) documentation, and CASG commercial artefacts.
  • Facilitate Working Groups on behalf of the PM, including concept development and MOU development.
  • Manage program risk and participate in risk workshops.
  • Support negotiations and daily dealings with stakeholders to ensure the Commonwealth's interests are met.
  • Contribute to the Navy Aviation-wide Procurement Strategy.
What sort of skills do I need?
  • Experience within a government or Defence Project Management/Support role.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Capability Gate Review process.
  • Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other Export Control regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Process-oriented with good attention to detail.
  • Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance.
