About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You'll ensure accurate tax lodgements, identify planning opportunities, and help clients meet their obligations, all while contributing to a collaborative and efficient tax team. Key responsibilities include

Key Responsibilities will vary depending on your skills and experience, although may include

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance obligations for a variety of clients.
• Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors in delivering advisory services.
• Build strong client relationships and act as their first point of contact for accounting and tax matters.
• Communicate with third parties, including the ATO, lenders, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Advise on complex tax matters, including CGT, Division 7A, small business concessions, and tax-effective structuring.
• Collaborate with internal teams (advisory, investment, legal, superannuation) to deliver integrated advice.
• Mentor junior staff, review their work, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, rulings, and case law.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance risk.

Skills and Experience
We're looking for an experienced professional with:

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in public practice and working towards CA, CPA or IPA
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commercially minded, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
• A collaborative and ethical work style, aligned with a supportive and non-hierarchical culture
