Director of People and Culture, Wenona School

As we embark on the development of our next strategic plan, Wenona seeks to appoint our new Director of People and Culture. Our purpose is to educate and empower young women to serve and shape their world, fostering an environment where girls are encouraged to take risks rather than seek perfect outcomes, and develop the resilience and strength that will serve them throughout their lives.

With over 450 dedicated staff at the heart of us fulfilling our mission, the appointment of our new Director of People and Culture is pivotal. Working in partnership with the Principal and collaborating with our Senior Executive Team, the Director will play a key role in ensuring Wenona sustains a culture of excellence, wellbeing, inclusion, and continuous improvement. As we strive for our girls to thrive, we are equally committed to supporting our staff in their professional growth and success.

The Director of People and Culture remit is wide: from shaping and delivering a comprehensive people strategy; to growing the capacity of our middle and senior leaders; and developing the operational framework for setting expectations. This role also involves optimising our employer brand, managing the employee lifecycle, and ensuring that our people and culture administrative processes and systems deliver an outstanding user experience.

Bringing contemporary People and Culture skills, our new Director will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to Wenona's ongoing success as a vibrant, flourishing community of learners.
