Overview

APM Workcare understands that prevention and proactive management of injuries in the workplace is critically important and we work with employers and their people to minimise the personal and business impact of injuries, illness and disability through prevention, rehabilitation and training.

This role services clients in the South East of Melbourne (Frankston, Victoria, Australia). The role is full-time or part-time as a Rehabilitation Consultant and involves guiding and managing a client's journey as they return to daily life after physical or psychological injury, using a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.

Base pay range: A$65,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Performing vocational assessments both face to face and virtually
• Supporting clients to achieve return to work goals
• Providing non-comp or claim related psychological and psychosocial support to large corporate and Government customers
• Managing complex psychological cases
• Using award winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve great outcomes

What we are looking for

• Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work and Psychology (Provisional or Full)
• Full or associate registration and membership with ASORC
• Full registration with APHRA or AASW
• Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
• Have a current WWCC (Working with children check)
• Have full Australian working rights
• Hold a full drivers' license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
