About the Role

We're looking for a performance-driven Paid Social Marketer to join our team in Melbourne. This role is hands-on to start — you'll be directly managing and optimising paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Instagram to generate high-quality leads for clients in asset finance, insurance, and home loans.

But this isn't just a media buying role. You'll play a key part in building out our in-house marketing team in Australia — helping to hire, lead, and mentor other performance marketers as we scale.

You'll work closely with the GM of Operations, company directors, creatives, developers, and sales to drive measurable results across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch, manage, and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Instagram
  • Oversee monthly budgets ranging from $20K–$100K+ across different brands
  • Collaborate on creative direction, funnel strategy, and landing page tests
  • Report on and improve key performance metrics — CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR
  • Stay across algorithm updates, ad formats, and platform innovations
  • Lead creative testing: Advantage+, lead ads, reels-first, broad targeting
  • Drive weekly launch cycles for new brands, split tests, and ad angles
  • Leverage UGC and influencer-style content to scale efficiently
  • Support growth into new channels and build internal playbooks
  • Hire, onboard, and manage additional media buyers as the team expands

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on paid social experience (Meta essential, TikTok a bonus)
  • Deep knowledge of lead generation funnels and direct response marketing
  • Track record of hitting CPL/CPA targets while scaling campaigns
  • Experience using GA4, Meta Events Manager, and UTM tracking
  • Strong creative judgement and a sharp eye for performance trends
  • Bonus: background in finance-related verticals (auto, mortgage, insurance)
  • Bonus: experience briefing or managing UGC/influencer content creators
