The Role

This role reports to the Head of Leasing and plays a key role in managing leasing transactions across the national retail network. The Leasing Manager is responsible for securing optimal commercial outcomes across lease renewals, negotiations, store conversions, and network development activities.

Responsibilities

As a Leasing Manager, you will drive leasing performance through data-led insights, strategic negotiation, and efficient lease management. You'll collaborate with landlords, internal stakeholders, and legal teams to ensure successful leasehold outcomes that align with business growth and cost-saving objectives.

You will provide:

  • Negotiation and execution of lease renewals, conversions, and new agreements
  • Modelling financial feasibility and preparing lease approval documentation
  • Preparation of reports, board papers, and presentation materials
  • Support for location strategy by identifying risks and opportunities in lease tenure
  • Delivery of rental savings through strong commercial negotiation
  • Proactive management of critical timelines and stakeholder alignment

About You

  • Experience in retail or commercial leasing, property or network development
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including feasibility modelling
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Well-developed organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage leasing cycles
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks relating to property leasing is desirable
