We're hiring a hands-on D365 F&O Consultant to join an internal team delivering major transformation across finance and operations. This is a key technical role focused on improving core systems, building integrations, and supporting a modern, finance-led platform roadmap.

You'll be based in Melbourne, working onsite 4 days per week, and will be part of a business with a clear tech direction and strong executive backing. Key Responsibilities

D365 F&O Technical Consultant

Melbourne | $160,000 + Super | Permanent | 4 Days Onsite

We're hiring a hands-on D365 F&O Consultant to join an internal team delivering major transformation across finance and operations. This is a key technical role focused on improving core systems, building integrations, and supporting a modern, finance-led platform roadmap.

You'll work closely with a leadership team that is highly engaged, commercially sharp, and deeply invested in using technology the right way. Key Responsibilities

• Build and support solutions in D365 Finance & Operations, primarily across core finance modules

• Develop integrations using .NET, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus

• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver scalable, well-structured solutions

• Maintain and extend existing platform functionality through clean, reliable development

• Contribute to design decisions, documentation, testing, and deployment

• Balance BAU support with project and improvement work across the platform
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience with D365 F&O in a technical and development role

• Proven skills in X++, with complementary experience in .NET and SQL

• A working knowledge of core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Projects

• Experience integrating with Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, REST APIs)

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders

• Comfortable working onsite in Melbourne 4 days per week
