About The Role
The department employs approximately 260 full time speech language pathologists across the state to support students, their teachers and their families with the student's speech language communication needs. In school settings you will provide services to students with speech language communication needs and support to their teachers and families.
Your Opportunity
- Apply your professional skills and knowledge in contemporary speech language pathology, as well as promote the importance of speech language communication skills as key areas underlying learning for all students.
- Collaborate with education teams within schools to deliver high quality speech language pathology services which address barriers to learning for students with speech language communication difficulties, using a whole of school approach as part of the educational program.

- 38hours per week (full-time);
- Access to accumulated time off;
- All the required equipment provided to you including laptop and mobile phone, access to fleet vehicles in some locations or travel allowance
- Positions based in rural and remote locations may have access departmental housing and reallocation allowance.
- You must have completed or be in the final year of completing your degree in speech pathology from a recognised tertiary institution, or other equivalent formal qualifications.
How To Apply

- Once you have submitted your application you will be taken to a short questionnaire- please ensure you answer all questions.
- Applications will be reviewed regularly and graduate interviews will be held:
- Week of 1st to the 5th September
- Week of 20th to the 24th October
- Week of 24th to the 28th November

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
Salary rate shown is reflective of full-time (1.0 FTE).
