Automation Test Analyst

Job Description of Automation Test Analyst, Perth:
We are looking for a self-directed and motivated Automation Test Analyst to be part of an agile multi-disciplinary development team working on industry-leading mine automation solutions. The work is technical in nature, and you will be exposed to both hardware and software systems. As part of this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain automation test framework
- Integrate automation test framework with CI/CD pipeline
- Write and execute test scripts
- Create test coverage report for automated tests
- Work closely with product teams, customers, and key stakeholders to ensure the test scope meets the technology requirements.
Proven 5+ years as an Automation test analyst or similar role
Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipeline
Hands-on experience with Python / .NET scripting
Understanding of Agile and Scrum techniques including user story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Designing, developing, and executing integration, system, regression, and performance tests using Robot Framework
Performance test tools (jMeter)
C# / Python / .NET
Jira and Zephyr
Code coverage and profiling
Create test cases from requirements
Able to communicate with team members and other stakeholders
Planning and problem-solving with other members of the team
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THE ROLE
- Test mobile autonomy products against the agreed deliverables.
- Develop automation test framework
- Write test cases
- Create automated tests
- Document all test results
- Integrate automated test execution in CI/CD pipeline
