The role

Our client is looking for a Project Engineer with expertise and experience to work on complex civil works in Newcastle / Hunter Valley, specializing in civil infrastructure.

This role will challenge you and expects you to add significant value to the projects. You will be a leader, managing a team of Engineers.

Joining an award-winning contractor, you will be part of a talented, professional team. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with experience in rail, earthworks, and road projects.

The company

This is an opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer to join a Tier two civil contractor working on $50m worth of projects, with potential growth to a Senior Project Engineer role supported by recognized leaders in the civil market.

Minimum requirements
  • A Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience on civil projects over $10m in value
  • Background in structures, earthworks, or heavy civil projects
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of organization
  • Effective team communication and collaboration
  • Exceptional understanding of OH&S policies
  • Ability to think and react quickly to workplace challenges
