The Role

A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and energetic Fire Technician/Electrician with a 'can-do' attitude and leadership qualities to join our Darwin team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build and further their career in an evolving industry. Ideally, we are seeking an A-class electrician eager to grow into a key part of a market-leading fire protection organization. Alternatively, a Fire Alarm Technician seeking the next step in their career.

Working in a strong team environment, your solid work ethic and high level of customer service will be rewarded with an attractive salary, a standard 38-hour week (Monday to Friday), overtime rates, and a fully maintained commercial vehicle to perform your duties.

Your primary duties will include:

  1. Carrying out repairs to fire protection equipment to Australian Standards, including fire alarms, evacuation systems, and more.
  2. Routine testing of fire protection equipment in accordance with Australian Standards.
  3. Liaising with customers to promote professional and friendly relationships.
  4. Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements.
  5. Completing service records using smart device technology.

To be successful, you will have:

  1. Strong customer focus and a 'can-do' attitude.
  2. The ability to work as part of a team and lead others.
  3. Basic smartphone and IT knowledge.
  4. A current Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  5. A strong commitment to safety in all activities.
  6. Current Electrical Licence (preferred but not essential).
  7. The ability to travel and work away from home as required.
