We are seeking a part-time (FTE 0.58) Primary Music Coordinator to commence in Term 1, 2025.
About Waverley Christian CollegeWaverley Christian College is a forward-thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Primary Music Coordinator, you will have a music teaching component to your role (with four periods per fortnight of coordination and a total of ten periods during production years) and also be responsible for the effective and coordinated delivery of the Primary School's ensemble, music and performing arts programs.
Key Requirements- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Be organised with good reporting skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
- Be able to teach Music and has demonstrated experience coordinating music and performing arts programs
- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities
