We're looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead and support our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving the success of our first store.

About the Role

As the 2IC Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store. You'll play a key role in leading and motivating the team, ensuring that customers have an exceptional experience, and assisting in the smooth execution of store operations.

On any given day, you will:

  1. Assist the Store Manager in leading the team to meet sales targets and KPIs.
  2. Support the hiring, training, and development of new team members.
  3. Help manage store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and stock management.
  4. Ensure a high standard of customer service, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  5. Maintain store presentation and ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards.
  6. Provide input on store performance and areas for improvement.
  7. Step in for the Store Manager as required and ensure the team remains motivated and productive.
  8. Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring a secure environment.

What You'll Bring to this Role

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  1. 1+ years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role (beauty industry experience is a plus).
  2. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  3. A passion for customer service, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
  4. Knowledge of inventory management, stocktake processes, and merchandising.
  5. A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
  6. Flexibility to work weekends, late-night trading, and public holidays as required.
  7. A keen interest in beauty and skincare products (K-beauty knowledge is a bonus).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year (excluding superannuation) + bonus incentives.
