About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Gordon Brothers team based in Brisbane. Projects are mainly in QLD, with occasional short-term travel to interstate projects.

As a Project Engineer/Manager, you will ensure the flawless delivery of projects to meet customer expectations, including on-time and on-budget completion. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be key to ongoing success.

You will be recognized for your organizational skills and technical innovation, helping our fast-paced team perform at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients to define scope and secure projects
  • Project scoping, tender documentation, cost estimation, tender evaluation, and preparing recommendations
  • Detailed design and layout work
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Supporting the regional project team
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Driving business growth and success

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Over 5 years of experience in Industrial refrigeration, HVAC, or similar industries
  • Project management or engineering experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
