Personal Care Worker - Home and Community

Enjoy a fulfilling, flexible casual care role covering Hervey Bay and surrounds. You will be supported by a passionate team of people dedicated to delivering excellent standards and quality care.

It is a requirement for our community roles that all staff possess a reliable vehicle, a valid Australian driver licence, and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes. Ideally, your availability would include Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

About the role
Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests, and choices.

These include:

  • Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming, and showering
  • Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home)
  • Engaging in social activities as required

To be successful, you will have:
  • Cert III Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualifications
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
  • Up-to-date flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Queensland driver licence and own vehicle for work use
