Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer).
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data science use cases.
  • Partner with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement data governance, security, and monitoring best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and solution architects.
  • Contribute to the wider data community by sharing knowledge, thought leadership, and delivery excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Program in either SQL or Python confidently.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services.
  • Exposure to tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Airflow.
  • Personal side projects, GitHub projects to talk about on the phone.
  • Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
