Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our Childcare Centre located in Rockdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement.
  • Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre\'s values.
  • Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Prioritise the health and safety of all children in service.
  • Assist with daily campus operations and room tasks such as activity preparation and mealtimes.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program which values a holistic view of each child\'s development.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to other educators within the service.
  • Maintain ongoing records of the children\'s development, program and daily information.
  • Ensure high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards and compliance with Government Regulations.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Centre Director role within an Early Childhood setting.
  • Current paid Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR.
  • National Police Check (within 6 months).
  • Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
