Job Title: Registrar or Principal House Officer

Location: Department of Emergency Medicine, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals

Salary Package:

We are offering a competitive remuneration package with salary between $129,583 - $150,240 per annum (full-time) or $65.35 - $75.77 per hour (part-time), along with generous employer superannuation and flexible rostering for optimal work-life balance.

  1. To contribute to the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and equitable clinical service in collaboration with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  2. To participate in the upgrading of medical education and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
  3. The appointment will be for the provision of services to Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
  4. A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in their third or subsequent year of practical experience after full registration as a medical practitioner.

About the Role: We seek a skilled medical professional to join our team at the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. As a Registrar or Principal House Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to medical education.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, and contributing to the dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
