Live - What you will doAn opportunity has arisen to join our diverse and inclusive Hybrid Primary Care/Specialty team. In this role your core focus will be to maximize sales of Amgen's innovative lipid lowering biologic product across the South Australia territory. You'll be targeting GP's and Cardiologists that are actively involved in managing ASCVD (Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease). We're looking for forward thinking, self-motivated and accountable individuals, focused on developing each account to its fullest potential. Working collaboratively with our Marketing, Medical and Communications Teams, you truly embrace account management principles, understand the important role that each key stakeholder plays and are focused on adding value to both them and their patients. The position reports to the Senior District Sales Manager and is a permanent full time role.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maximise territory product sales
- Build trusted partnerships with GPs and Cardiologists to provide differentiated value through promotion of products, education and support
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement territory and key account plans, with ongoing evaluation, tracking and course correction
- Meet customer and territory KPI's, report customer activity in CRM system
- Anticipate and communicates competitive threats, intelligence and opportunities
We are all different, yet we all use our unique skills and experience to serve patients. The experienced GP/Specialist Sales Representative we seek is a collaborative, communicative, tech-savvy and innovative individual with these attributes/qualifications:
- Field Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the Primary care environment is essential, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Previous experience specialty selling in the Cardiovascular (in particular lipid lowering) area will be highly regarded
- GP and Specialty sales experience in South Australia is favorable
- Tertiary qualifications in science or business and completion of Medicines Australia certification
- Account Management/Development mindset - proactive self-management in owning your business and determining results
- Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
- Valid driver's licence, residency and Work rights in Australia essential
