Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Civil Leading Hand to lead our team in delivering the ETCS L2 project. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing construction activities based on signalling and functional documentation.
  2. Managing the Civil Construction team and subcontractors for project delivery, coordinating site activities according to the project plan.
  3. Managing the ITP process, ensuring timely sign-offs by stakeholders.
  4. Optimizing project resources to meet milestones and deliverables.
  5. Collaborating with the HSE team to define safety requirements and implement safety initiatives.
  6. Ensuring HSE compliance and defining site safety protocols.
  7. Providing regular progress reports on construction activities and resource performance.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in civil supervision within rail and civil construction environments.
  • A Construction White Card.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • A current Class A Driver License.
  • Experience in concrete and foundation works.
  • Proven competency in Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a brownfield railway signalling environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools and technical systems.
  • A resourceful, resilient, and professional attitude.
