Job Description

Alfred Health is a leader in healthcare delivery, improvement, research, and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, offering ambulatory, inpatient, and home and community-based services.

If you wish to pursue pre-vocational training in Critical Care disciplines, Alfred Health offers PGY3 positions with rotations in:

  • Anaesthetics
  • Emergency
  • General Medicine
  • Intensive Care
  • Trauma
  • Other relevant disciplines in Surgery and Medicine may also be available

Prospective trainees can apply for these positions to prepare for entry into Registrar training streams. Training and exam support will be provided to assist with future Registrar training programs.

Positions are available at The Alfred and Sandringham Hospitals, with rotations of up to 6 months in ICU or Anaesthetics, along with other discipline rotations. Alfred Health will not participate in the PMCV match; applications should be made directly via our website.

Eligibility requires holding General Registration at the start of the position. Cover letters should be addressed to the Medical Recruitment Team, indicating your top preference. Applicants can select their first preference (ICU or Anaesthetics) in the application.
