Job Description:

We are seeking a driven, creative, and passionate Events Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. You'll work alongside our dedicated ensemble, bringing high-end corporate, lifestyle, and community events to life for leading Australian brands and property developers.

This is a mid-level role with a minimum of 2 years' event management experience, requiring a proven ability to deliver outstanding events from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will be eager to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop client proposals and budgets, ensuring alignment with objectives and expectations.
  2. Conceptualise and execute creative event solutions tailored to client briefs.
  3. Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless project delivery.
  4. Oversee planning and execution of high-quality events, maintaining excellence in every detail.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  6. Monitor and control event costs and timelines, optimising efficiency without compromising quality.
  7. Execute exceptional events under tight deadlines, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  8. Lead and coordinate onsite event teams, ensuring smooth operations and flawless execution.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams on large-scale events, providing day-to-day support and strategic input.
Requirements:
  1. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong ability to anticipate challenges and think ahead.
  2. Proven event management experience required, minimum 2+ years' experience in event planning, campaign management or similar role.
  3. A creative thinker with a strong ability to develop innovative ideas.
  4. The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  5. A background, familiarity, or passion for interior styling, food & beverage, entertainment, floral trends, brand activations, and social media.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other essential event management tools.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  8. Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  9. Experience in risk management and mitigation.
  10. The ability to commit to a five-day working week with additional evening and weekend availability for events as needed.
  11. A well-developed knowledge of key event suppliers, venues, and industry locations.
Preferred:

A tertiary qualification or prior experience in the events industry.
