Business Analyst

Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Sales and Marketing team at Bindaree Food Group Sydney team. Reporting to the General Manager - Sales, this role plays a pivotal part in bringing together sales, planning, livestock, operations, and finance to ensure profitable, efficient and strategically aligned outcomes.

• Developing and maintaining rolling demand plans and forecasts to optimise profitability across the supply chain
• Partnering with sales and planning teams to align demand planning with business objectives
• Producing daily variance-to-plan analysis and identifying financial impacts of deviations
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives that deliver operational efficiencies and cost savings
• Supporting the development of pricing, margin strategies, and reporting dashboards
• Conducting competitor analysis, market research, and providing insights for growth opportunities

You are analytical, commercial minded, and thrive in a fast-paced, supply chain-driven environment. Ideally, you bring:

• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience assessing profitability impacts
• Background in demand planning, forecasting, or business analysis (meat processing or FMCG preferred)
• High-level skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets
• Knowledge of supply and demand dynamics and their impact on operational performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge diverse teams
• A proactive mindset with the ability to deliver continuous improvement outcomes
