As such, we are seeking a talented and motivated Portfolio Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's investment decisions by conducting detailed financial analysis, market research, and due diligence. You will work closely with senior team members to evaluate potential investment opportunities and monitor the performance of existing investments. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial modelling and analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Perform in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational data.
  • Monitor the performance of portfolio investments and provide recommendations to optimise returns.
  • Support senior management with ad hoc analysis and strategic decision-making initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including proficiency in Excel and valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in using financial databases and research tools
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
