Perioperative Store Manager

Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PeriOp Store Manager to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you\'ll ensure the seamless management of Theatre supplies, directly influencing the quality of care our patients receive.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular stock counts and reorder supplies to maintain optimal levels, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
- Monitor and adjust minimum and maximum stock levels in response to usage fluctuations, maintaining balance and efficiency.
- Daily communication with team members and PeriOp staff to address stock-related issues that may impact patient care.
- Apply manual handling policy and procedures for all lifting, pushing, and pulling processes to ensure safety.
Peninsula Private is a 60 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 3 operating theatres located on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside. Peninsula is currently being upgraded to grow the current PeriOp department to include 4 theatres and 2 procedure rooms. The 4 new theatres will go live on the 1st September 2025 with full completion expected in January 2026.
Essential Criteria- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably within a healthcare environment
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical capability to handle manual tasks and lift items as required
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Full Australian working rights
