THE POSITION:
This position is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with regular requirements for overtime.
You will be supported by a team of 8 in our office, handling customer communication, scheduling, IT, parts ordering & receiving, technical knowledge, invoicing, and finance. We want you to focus on what you do best
You will be provided with a vehicle, phone allowance, and a uniform.
We see ourselves as a service business first and foremost, and are looking for a new member of our technical team that shares this focus.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- A wide variety of work, including local government small to medium projects, domestic & commercial maintenance & installation, and air-conditioning installations.
- Managing apprentices
- Fault finding
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
You will possess the following:
- Full Licensed Electrician
- Fault finding experience
- Exceptional communication skills, leaving our customers with a great impression of our business
- Exceptional relationship building skills; understanding key relationships within our business and with our customers
- Savvy technology skills, including job management software, email, and the internet
- A work ethic that upholds teamwork, continual improvement, ownership, reliability, and respect for colleagues
- An attitude of positivity, enthusiasm, and willingness
- Ability to work peak times, e.g., school holidays, Christmas, and Easter (blackout annual leave times apply; public holidays and weekends are rarely required)
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Current QLD Driver's Licence
Desirable but not essential skills include:
- Air Conditioning Split-system experience & licence
- Solar/battery installation and fault finding experience
- Experience with Simpro job management software (full training provided)
- Working At Heights & Elevated Work Platform licences
