Hamilton Island Holiday Homes is seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our Front Office and Housekeeping teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

Your Role:

As the Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the Front Office and Housekeeping teams to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
  • Drive operational excellence – Streamline processes, optimise efficiency, and enhance guest experiences.
  • Manage performance & profitability, ensuring cost control and financial targets are met.
  • Implement high standards of cleaning and service quality, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Property Management team to ensure seamless coordination and alignment in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture, guiding teams through change with confidence and clarity.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
  • A hands-on leader with a strong hospitality background.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a senior hospitality management role (essential).
  • At least 1 year of Housekeeping experience (essential).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong business acumen – P&L management, cost control, and operational planning.
  • Queensland Open/Unrestricted Driver's Licence (essential).
  • A diploma or certificate in Business Management or Hospitality (desirable).
