Vacancies exist for two (2) Enrolled Nurses for Ward C based at Life Anncron Hospital. The successful candidates will report to Unit Manager, Adelaide Malete and will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in accordance with company strategies and applicable health/nursing legislation.

Position: Enrolled Nurse | Ward CIntroduction

We are seeking two (2) qualified Enrolled Nurses to join Ward C at Life Anncron Hospital. The role involves ensuring quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Critical OutputsEnsure effective quality management systems by:
  • Participating in care programs and conducting induction training
  • Completing comment cards and reporting to the shift leader or unit manager
  • Attending review and ward meetings to ensure compliance with QMS standards
  • Complying with infection control standards and PPE procedures
  • Adhering to safety measures
Ensure operational efficiency by:
  • Managing stock accurately
  • Reporting patient movements during discharge or transfer
  • Properly using and maintaining equipment
  • Minimizing justified personal absenteeism
  • Working flexible hours to reduce agency costs and assist other departments
Ensure quality patient care by:
  • Completing assigned tasks to maximize patient outcomes
  • Maintaining patient hygiene, comfort, and safety according to care plans
  • Using correct techniques and PPE to promote healing
  • Assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs and progress
  • Preparing for surgical and diagnostic procedures
Relationship Management
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Supporting new staff during orientation
Requirements
  • Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Registration with SANC
  • Ability to work shifts as required
  • Understanding of the private healthcare industry (advantage)
  • Computer proficiency (advantage)
