SAP Senior Business Analyst - Sales & Distribution plays a critical role in supporting the Sales and Distribution functions within Peabody.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional support for SAP Sales and Distribution modules, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Deliver training to end-users as required, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively utilize the SAP system.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, share knowledge, and drive business outcomes.
  • Communicate important system events and updates to business stakeholders, promoting transparency and awareness.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
System Configuration and Development:
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of SAP designs and functional specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Design and configure SAP applications to meet business needs, leveraging expertise in SAP ECC standard Sales, Distribution, Pricing, Credit, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Recognition processes.
  • Identify and execute test cycles/scenarios, conducting Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to support/enhancement requests and projects, driving business value through effective implementation and deployment.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of SAP configuration experience, with a strong understanding of the SAP lifecycle (ECC), S/4 preferred.
  • Proven ability to navigate the software development life cycle, from idea inception to scoping, requirements gathering, analysis, design, construction, testing, QA, user acceptance, deployment, maintenance/support, and change management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and development teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
