Overview

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Armament

Join Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) as part of the ACEA (Air Combat Electronic Attack) program at RAAF Base Amberley. You'll be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
  • Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
  • Embracing a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel.
What You Will Bring To BDA (Qualifications)
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament)
  • Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
  • Hold a current driver's licence
Desirable
  • Previous experience working with Military aircraft
  • Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
